La Chiesa e la finanza: un po’ di storia.

La recente enciclica “Laudao sì” di Papa Francesco ha suscitato molti commenti, non tutti favorevoli. In particolare gli “atei devoti” del “Foglio” hanno dato spazio a critiche relative al giudizio sul capitalismo e la finanza ivi contenuto. Non ci sembra dunque cosa inutile scavare nella storia per ricostruire il punto di vista della Chiesa sulla finanza.
